IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER REINSTATED FOR 2010-2011
| The IRA Charitable Rollover allows individuals aged 70½ and older to donate up to $100,000 from their Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) to public charities without having to count the distributions as taxable income.
The IRA Charitable Rollover and other critical giving incentives have been reinstated through 2011 as part of the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010. Contributions for the 2010 tax year can be made retroactively through January 2011. Given the short window of opportunity to take advantage of this incentive for 2010, we encourage you to alert your development offices and affiliates to capitalize on this important development.
The IRA Rollover was first enacted in 2006 as part of the Pension Protection Act.

Tribute Program The Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley is proud to offer a convenient and thoughtful way of helping you celebrate life’s special moments. Our tax-deductible Tribute Program is a perfect way to acknowledge the special people and events in your life while doing a good turn for a local boy or girl.
Here’s how it works: When you call or email the Club with your donation of any size ($15 minimum), your designated recipient will promptly receive a personalized letter from the Club’s CEO, notifying them of your thoughtful tribute to them.
Here are just a few of the occasions that the Tribute Program can help you acknowledge:
• birthday • graduation • promotion • bar/bat mitzvah • quinceanera • condolences |
• in memoriam • birth • Hanukkah • Christmas • Mothers Day • Fathers Day |
One hundred percent of your tax-deductible donation goes directly to the funding of programs at the Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley. Because the program is local, every child benefits and your commemoration has maximum impact.
Thank you for honoring your occasion with a donation to the boys and girls of the Club.
To participate in the Tribute Program please contact: The Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley (818) 610-1054
